Sick.

Sick is the best way to describe what has been taking place at the Picardy house. It all started with Sarah Kathryn. Last Wednesday, we had to take her to the ER because we thought she may have a concussion. Shortly before her bedtime she ran smack into the wall and hit it really hard. We thought she was fine so she went on to bed. About two hours later I looked at her on the video monitor to see that she had vomited. Thomas went up to her room and sure enough she had gotten sick everywhere. We got her up and then I panicked thinking that she may have a concussion since she had gotten sick. So, we were told to take her to the ER and have her checked out. Up until this point she had not had a fever so I did not think she was sick. We had a CT scan, the whole nine yards and it turns out she was fine. However, the vomiting did not stop in her crib. She continued the rest of the night into the early morning when we were finally able to leave the ER after she could keep some fluids down. I felt so bad for her and just wanted her to feel better. We got home and she went to sleep (3:30am) and of course got up at her normal 7:30 am time!! She woke up with a fever and it went downhill from there. For the next several days she had diarrhea and was just super sick. Needless, to say she is feeling better and now mom is feeling like she did! Thomas got it but just for one night and then he was fine. For some reason it is hanging around for me!

So, now you know what we have been up to and the next post I promise I will have pictures!! In between all of this I have been diligently working on Sarah Kathryn's new big girl room and Matthew's nursery. Sarah Kathryn will be moving to a big girl bed as soon as we can get it all together and her little brother will be moving into her nursery. I will be sure to post pics when it is all done.
