Daddy and Sarah Kathryn in their coordinating outfits!!For Sarah Kathryn's first 4th of July we went to the Siegel's lake house. We had a great time and Sarah Kathryn did wonderful. We have been having a time lately getting her to take naps during the day but today she even took a few cat naps and a good long nap on the ride home. I tried to dress her patriotic today for the 4th but she still lacked some red. I think this is the first outfit that she has worn or for that matter that she owns that is not pink/purple.
All of Thomas' friends from college that have children have a girl for their first born. So, today at the lake everyone that was there had a little girl. I look forward to when Sarah Kathryn is old enough to join in on the playing. The girls had a great time sliding down the slip n slide and getting in the baby pool. Although, we did not get out on the water we still had a great time enjoying the heat and all the great company. Thomas did go out on the boat and he even took a dip in the lake but us girls stayed up on the porch. I did not realize how tired you can become from sitting out in the heat all day long...I am exhausted!
