4th of July/ Milwaukee Trip

I am waaaayyy behind on blogging and I can't promise it will get any better but here is my attempt to try and catch up, sort of! For the 4th of July we traveled (myself, the kids and my mom) to Milwaukee, WI for Tilly's (my brother's child) first birthday celebration. My kids had so much fun playing with my brother and sister-in-law. It was great to see Tilly and to be there on her special day. We had a busy week going to the Milwaukee zoo, the park, a 4th of July parade and picnic, swimming, playing in the yard (not as hot as AL!!!) and of course Tilly's party! It was crazy with my kids but it was a great trip and I am so glad that we were able to go. Oh and the kids did fabulous driving from Bham to ATL then riding the shuttle to the airport and then flying! It was not nearly as bad as I had anticipated and they did great on the way home! Matthew of course had a 103 fever the day we flew home but it did not even phase him. We look forward to seeing Tilly, Uncle Mike and Aunt Karen in Birmingham over Thanksgiving.
