Both of my babies were super sweet and did such a great job!! Thomas and I were asked to pick a verse for Matthew and this is what we selected: I Corinthians 16: 13-14 "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love."We love you Matthew Thomas and look forward to watching you grow and become a man of God.
On another note, Matthew turned 5 months old last week. He is still the sweetest baby I have ever met. He is easy, sweet, chubby, smiley and so lovable. I have to finally be honest and say that when we found out that we were having a little boy, I was a bit hesitant and worried that I would not know what to do. I also was scared that I could not love this baby as much as my first baby. Let me tell you it is not the least bit hard for me to love this little guy. I am so happy that we have a girl and a boy and it is incredible how much love I can have for both of my children. I love them so differently and for such different reasons but I have so much unconditional love for both of them...they really do make my world spin round and round!!
Matthew got his first ear infection this month but during it all he has yet to really complain. He is completely 100% sleeping through the night and has been for some time. When we took him to the doctor last week for his sick visit, he weighed 16lbs, 15 oz...seriously!! I can't even believe how much bigger he is than Sk ever was.
