Happy 4 months Matthew!!

Sorry for the naked photo of Matthew but I thought it was just too cute!

I can't believe that Matthew is already 4 months old. He is getting to be such a big boy and I love it. Although, I tell myself I need to cherish each and every moment of his baby days sometimes it is hard! Overall, he is a fabulous and happy baby. We are still trying to work out a few kinks in his sleep patterns but other than that we are doing great. I am still breastfeeding but also supplementing with some formula. This has made our days a little less stressful and Matthew has finally accepted his bottle with some formula in it. We went in for his check-up on Monday and he weighed 14lbs 8oz and was 25 inches long. I keep thinking he is sooo big but in reality he is not! He is in the 30% for weight and 50% for height. Matthew has grown to love his frog lovey and loves to put it over his face in order to fall asleep. This scares me to death but really soothes him. Matthew has started sitting in the bumbo seat a little bit and seems to like it. I can't wait until I can get out the exersaucer! He has not rolled over yet and still is not really that fond of tummy time but we are trying to do it more and more each day. Matthew lights up every time he sees his sister. However, he does not like when she screams all the time. I have been battling trying to get SK to be a little less LOUD. I don't know if it is just being 2 years old or what, but seriously we do not know what it means to have an inside voice.

As for Sarah Kathryn, she has made a huge step in being an even bigger big girl...we finally gave up our paci!! yay!!! We have been without it for over two weeks now and have hardly missed a beat. At first she asked for it a good bit but now we hardly ever hear her talk about it. This weekend we will begin our 3 day potty training boot camp, please wish us luck! I think SK is ready to be trained but I am not sure that I am so ready but it will be a huge pay off when I don't have to buy diapers for two anymore!!
