July 2nd was a big day for us at the Picardy house. Not only did Matthew turn 3 months old but we welcomed our first Niece/Nephew and Cousin!! My brother and sister-in-law had their first baby girl, Matilda Grace "Tilly". We have yet to meet her but she looks super sweet from all the pictures we have seen. Sarah Kathryn walks around saying "I love you Tilly"! We look forward to meeting her real soon. Congrats Mike and Karen!
Matthew turned 3 months but seems to be going in reverse on some things!! He was totally sleeping through the night and then all of a sudden he stopped. He now gets up between 4am and 5am and eats and then goes back to bed for another 3-4 hours. I am not sure what happened but I was really enjoying that extra hour or two of sleep! He is still my angel baby but he wants to be held all the time. As soon as you pick him up he will begin to smile at you...seriously, how can you be mad at him then?? He weighs around 13lbs and has fat rolls on his arms, wrists and his thighs are super chubby. He is still eating like a champ. If I would let him he would eat 6 oz each feeding. I am still nursing him but we did try to supplement with formula while at the beach but he will NOT take formula. I am fine with continuing to breast feed but I just hope that my milk supply will last as long as he wants it to. He "talks" up a storm and loves his sister when she is not screaming! He is getting better in the car and did great on the way to and from the beach.
