Happy One Month Little Man!

Our Little man is already one month old (as of Sunday) and how the time has flown by. I will say that these last four weeks have been very trying for me and at times I was completely convinced that I was not cut out to be a mother of two but things have gotten much better. I have been getting out much more frequently with both kiddos and we have yet to have a disaster. Some things that Matthew has done so far this first month:

*You weigh 9lbs 7 oz (35%) and you are 22 1/4" long (75%)
* You love to eat and you love to nurse, which makes me very tired but yet so happy
* You love to sleep, you sleep so much during the day but surprise us by sleeping during the night as well.
* You slept through the night for the first time last night (10p-5:30am) Dad asked me at 4:30 if I had checked on you since you never got up!
* You get car sick very easily and throw up all that you have eaten. I have learned that we can not eat and then immediately get in the car.
*You are now in size 1 diapers; although they are still extremely big
*You are still not a huge fan of the paci; although I do wish you would start to like it
* You generally only cry if you are hungry, tired or occasionally when you tummy is upset.
* You will not let me eat anything that is tomato based or dairy, we found that out one night after eating some delicious baked ziti!
* You can sleep through you extremely loud sister screaming!
*You still fit in your newborn clothing but you are getting bigger each day.
*You HATE bath time
*You have sprayed mommy and daddy several times in the face with pee and yes mom screams each time!
*You have already been to a wedding and reception, the zoo, several playgrounds, the mall, the airport, and have done lots of shopping.
*You take a bottle occasionally (about 2-3oz)

Matthew you are an angel baby and we are completely enjoying every second with you!

As for Sarah Kathryn (about to be 26 months on the 7th)

*You can sing all your abc's
*You count to 10
*You love books and can tell us several stories that we read each day. Your favorite book is your ABC Bible book (as you call it). You can tell us several of the Bible stories.
* You love to sing songs, your favorites are: "Twinkle, Twinkle"; "The Wheels on the Bus"; "The Itsy Bitsy Spider"...and many more
* You are talking up a storm and don't miss a thing that we are saying.
* You love to kiss your baby brother
*You have started to sit in "time out" when acting out
*You love mac and cheese
*You love to swing and slide or do anything outdoors
* You hate having your hair dried
*You have been sleeping in your big girl bed for a month now and we no longer have a crib in your bedroom
*You are super sweet and still want us to hold you all the time or as you would say "hold you mommy"

I know I am forgetting so many things but at least I will be able to look back and remember a few things that each kiddo did this month!!
