We finally have the nursery done, or I guess I should say as done as it is going to be!! I am happy with the way that it turned out but I will say it is much "simpler" than Sarah Kathryn's nursery was--imagine that! I picked out the fabrics and had someone make the crib skirt. I went with a generic sheet and bumper pad. Sarah Kathryn only used her bumpers for the first 3 months so I choose to be more economical this time around. Thomas and I made the cornice's that are on the windows. I guess I should say that Thomas did most of the work and I just showed him how I wanted it done. Then the cute art work was done by my dear friend Carrie and I (mostly Carrie). Carrie helped another one of our friends make these super cute collage boards and I loved them so much that I had to have some in Matthew's room. Like I said she did most of the work but I helped cut out and put the glue on the boards...I think they turned out great. Thanks, Carrie!!! Other than that we just used all of SK's furniture from her nursery and made it all BOY. I am really starting to like blue:)
I am officially almost ready for Matthew to make his arrival. I have washed all the sheets and his clothes. I have peeled name stickers off of our bottles and replaced them with new. We have the swing, bouncy seat and pack n play ready to go. Now, I just have to pack our bags and I think we will be good to go. I keep thinking this baby is going to come early but according to a surprise exam last Friday he is going to be in my tummy for a little longer(hopefully!). I also had a surprise ultrasound due to a little bit of concern and all was well. Baby brother is growing great (4lbs 9oz, in the 45%) and should arrive at a healthy 7.5lbs, we'll see how accurate they are! Oh, he already has hair...does that surprise anyone??? I mean after my sweet Sarah Kathryn and ALL her hair it does not shock me one bit that this baby will be just as furry! ha.
Pictures of SK's big girl room are coming soon...just waiting on all her bedding to be made. I have been spending a good bit of my time preparing for SK's 2nd birthday. We are doing an Elmo party this year and I have decided to make everything. I hope it turns out cute and I do hope the weather is nice that weekend as well. (pics to come afterwards).

Soooo adorable! I love it!
This is so cute! I love everything in there, especially the monogram over the crib. Very stylish, but I wouldn't expect anything else. I hope everything goes well with Matthew's arrival.
