Today was a great day! Sarah Kathryn was finally well enough to have her tube surgery (she had to miss 2 weeks ago because she was sick again). It went great with the exception that we had to wait forever before they actually took her back. We had to be at Children's hospital this morning at 7am and her surgery was at 8:15am. Well, at 8:15 the nurse told me that our doctor's first patient ended up having two procedures instead of one so he is way behind. Needless to say we had to wait another hour before they took her. Luckily, the hospital is equipped with wagons, cars, tvs and toys otherwise it would have been torture. Sarah Kathryn wanted something to drink so badly that she was super cranky. Thomas had to push her around the hall in a car for at least an hour to keep her mind off the JUICE! When they took her back she went fine with no tears and in 15 minutes the doctor was in to tell us that all went well. The nurse told us that as soon as she woke up, she immediately spit out her passy and wanted her drink and bear. We got her home and she hit the sack for another 3 hours until she woke up starving:) Now, we are ready to see if she starts hearing better and talking more!

So glad everything went well! What sweet pictures. I know that was hard on you and her, but the result will be so worth it :)
I am so glad that is over with for all of your sakes. What a relief that ear infections are now a thing of the past! Yay!! You will be so glad you got this done once Matthew arrives!!!
