Hey Everyone!
I have been trying to post some more pictures for the last few days but I never seem to make time in between feedings!! Thank you to all of you that prayed for us and for my delivery. I can not tell you how wonderful everything went and how relaxed I was the day of. Of course, I did have a little help from some narcotics but overall I was at peace with all that was going to happen and everything turned out perfect. We are in love with our little guy and I already could not imagine life without him. He is doing great and nursing 110 times better than Sarah Kathryn ever did, now hopefully we can continue to have good luck. Thomas and I both have been praying diligently for this baby to be able to nurse well and not to have tummy issues like Sarah Kathryn did. I have been blessed both times with an abundance of milk and I just do not want to waste it again!! Matthew has also been a great sleeper both during the day and at night. It is amazing how different babies can be but I guess no two are alike.
Sarah Kathryn is adjusting well to being a big sister. She is a little off and has been acting out more than normal but she is coming around and has already made improvements since Monday. I am not supposed to pick up SK for five weeks (due to having a c-section) which has been super difficult because she wants me to hold her and of course I miss holding her. However, this past week Sarah Kathryn has decided that she finally wants to sleep in her big girl bed. We have had two successful nights and two successful naps. I am so proud of her because she hasn't even gotten out of her bed in the middle of the night. So, hopefully she will continue to do well which will help me since I can't put her in and out of her crib (which means I have to have someone here in the morning and at nap times to get her in/out of her crib).
I am posting some pictures from when we were at the hospital and since we were there on Easter Sunday SK had to do her Easter basket at the hospital. Sarah Kathryn came up to visit us a lot while we were there but she was not a fan of the hospital at all. She loved walking around the hospital but did not want to be in the room. She stayed extremely busy while we were away from her. She spent the first two nights with my parents and the last two nights with Thomas' parents. My parents took her to the park 3 times, brought her to see us several times, went out to eat dinner and just had a blast. Thomas' parents took her to church on Easter and then brought her to see us afterward for a picnic (in the room of course:))
Hopefully, I will take more pics soon and will stay on top of posting about our newest addition and of course our sweet SK!!

Yay, im glad yall are at home and settling in nicely and that matthew is nursing well and SK is sleeping in her big girl bed. i dread the "not lifting" rule after a c-section because i know its going to be so tempting to want to pick up nathan. try and take it easy and i cant wait to see yall. the pics are precious
