SK sick, so sad.

So, once again I am late blogging this month. This is the last month before my sweet girl is a toddler, oh how I have been dreading this next month. Sarah Kathryn has grown up so much over the last couple of months I can't even begin to name all the things that she has learned. We have taken lots of "first" steps now and in fact I think we are up to 4 steps at a time, but no "real" walking yet! Sarah Kathryn loves to play and she does so well entertaining herself. We are weaning from the bottle but still not loving the sippy cup. I have recently realized how much this little one actually understands us. Sarah Kathryn has 3 baby dolls now and if I ask her "where is your baby" she will go and get it. She also understands kitty and monster (that is what we call our dog).
How could I forget the mysterious pointing? Sarah Kathryn points at everything and we are never really sure what it is that she is pointing at. I want to think she is trying to tell me something but then I look and she is pointing to the sky or the wall, who knows.
We are still under the wrath of the constant STRIKE. Nap strike that is. Not fun, not fun at all. This child will not nap. Oh, some days we have two naps and then other days we have zero naps. It is so unpredictable and I am so OVER it! It is a constant battle and yes I have tried all the tricks, nothing works. So, I am done with it. If she naps fine, if she doesn't nap fine too (did I mention that no naps makes for a very Long day?!).
This month has also brought several more teeth. She cut four all in the same week which also happened to be when she was sick, really fun. She came down with some type of crud, not sure what is was...maybe just a cold. We fought a fever, a cough and lots of snot for almost a week. Sarah Kathryn was a trooper through it all and even continued to sleep through the night, thank the Lord!
Just over two more weeks and we will be celebrating one whole year, time really does fly.
