Last weekend Sarah Kathryn got to meet for the first time her favorite Aunt Karen and Uncle Mike (her only aunt and uncle!!Shhh!!)! We had a great time visiting and hanging out. I am sure that Mike and Karen were a little bored but with a newborn it is much harder to find things to do. We ventured out to the mall and to downtown Homewood for the afternoon to enjoy the nice weather since Mike and Karen are used to the cold. Sarah Kathryn had her moments while they were here but for the most part she was pretty good. She especially liked when her Uncle Mike held her because she had never seen the world from such great heights before! She also had Aunt Karen and Uncle Mike to hold her pacifier in while riding in the car (since they had to sit in the back). Our biggest outing was going to Cocina Superior for dinner on Friday night and since that place is super noisy Sarah Kathryn seemed to love it. She slept the entire two and a half hours that we were there which was great for the rest of us! We had a great time and we can't wait until we can see them again. The visits are so few and far between that we hope Sarah Kathryn will be able to get to know her aunt and uncle in the future.
